It’s been a difficult year for everyone, but daytradeforgood.com believes in reaching out to those in need. “As a business, we have donated here and there when people would approach us, about mid-2019, we got very intentional,” said Kevin Jones, founder.
This year’s purposeful focus allows beginning traders the opportunity to check out day trading – and help families in need at the same time. Donations this year were gathered from the $10 Day Trade trial package, and the added sign-up page for those who desired to “donate a bit extra beyond the normal cost of our trial, allowing our donations to be a bit bigger to great charities,” he said.
We have done several fundraisers over the years around Christmas time with food banks or Sub-For-Santa. A couple of years ago we did one where we got really specific details about the family we were helping and it just really had an impact.

Sub-For-Santa, which has joined hands with United Way for over 35 years, assists children, the elderly, and the disabled in Utah County during Christmas. “Families like Christie and her children who are without a car and trying to balance healthcare and heating costs, or Andy who was laid off from working and is trying to provide for his four children” are helped, according to Janie Brigman of United Way of Utah County.
Thank you for helping provide a memorable Christmas for Utah County families during this hard year!
Janie Brigman
Jones echoes Brigman’s thoughts. He appreciates the “concerted effort” of everyone. “Many people get involved and want to donate to our group,” he said. Next year, daytradeforgood.com is considering assisting a group called Prison Fellowship; an organization of hope and renewal that provides Christmas gifts and “faith message[s]” to children whose parents are incarcerated.
“The group stood out to me because I think if those children can feel loved and appreciated it can have a direct impact on the paths they choose in life,” he said.
